SAIC Science To Solutions Center
Mayhem Media provided touch panel design, programming, and source code for the Science to Solutions Center (STSC) in McClean, VA. The STSC functions as a laboratory, test bed, and demonstration center that showcases a wide variety of SAIC products and services. It is comprised of five different rooms.
The overall system that was controlled included 6 LCD displays, 7 plasmas, a custom sound system, two Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras, DVD/VCR unit, Cable Television Tuner, and PC control through the touch panel (including mouse and some keyboard control). The custom Audio System incorporated its own processor, zone amplified speakers, and wireless microphones in addition to source audio. It was comprised of 5 different zones, each with its own mixing and volume controls.
Mayhem Media also provided the control interface for matrix switching of audio, video, and high-resolution signals.
